Vinay Deshmukh

Founder and Executive Director

Vinay Deshmukh is one of the founders and co-owners of 6DegreesIT. He is actively involved in the operations side of the business. Prior to moving to Canada in 2003, he headed CDAC training institutes, handling the network in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan and was also a channel partner for Reliance Telecom and Reliance Infocomm for their GSM and ISP services in Indore, MP. Vinay is a motivator by nature and his core strength lies in people-management and his ability to build, nourish and prosper relationships both with clients and the team.

He holds the Bachelors Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from the University of Pune and has been an entrepreneur since 1995, having run success ventures in education, telecom and IT sectors. Vinay is an avid sports enthusiast and a keen follower of cricket and golf.

Parikshit Chitalkar

Founder and CEO

Parikshit co-founded 6DegreesIT in 2006 and since then, has been instrumental in growing the business and streamlining internal technology and processes. After solidifying the company’s presence in the international market, he is leading 6Degrees’ expansion in India. Along with akeen interest in technology since childhood, a logical brain and a thirst for simplifying things, Parikshit has a deep understanding of many software development languages, service oriented architecture, database design He is knowledgeable in network security / IT infrastructure design and implementation.

Parikshit spent the early part of his career in Canada at WSI , HoneyComb Worldwide and Dundee Wealth Management moving to Ticoon Technologies (Canada’s largest provider of Retail Practice management software for Financial Advisors) where starting as a business analyst, he rose to a management position before co-founding 6DegreesIT.

Parikshit is a licensed commercial pilot , plays the bass guitar and has been described as a “golf addict”.
